Our Neediest Kids Pushed Out
Some schools may be pushing out the toughest kids after the 100th day — after funding won’t adjust and before state testing occurs. In response, some schools are choosing not to accept new students after the 100th day. That leaves some of the most at-risk students without a school option.
We, at PCA, think that’s too common among schools — that’s not PUBLIC school. That is NOT PCA — so we don’t engage in it. We welcome all students — anytime — no matter what. Because every child deserves a second chance — and an education!
PCA's Welcome Policy
30 New Students
30 new students have already joined PCA since the 100th day this year. That’s more than we counted on.
So, join us as we show that PCA supports these ideals and supports schools that act with integrity even when it’s difficult and costly.
Making a Difference
We Need Your Help
Our teachers are already hard at work integrating new students this school year into our classrooms. What we can’t accommodate are the new school supplies, paper, electricity, water, etc. that each new students requires. Our goal is to raise $11,000 to cover the cost of acting like a TRUE public school. Help sponsor a one-time gift to make schools public again. Help us meet this goal before the school year is over.
